A little about me…

I am a fan of gazing up at big old trees and watching albatross ride waves. My watercolour palette comes with me over land and sea to observe these beauties.

I grew up in Māpua, at the heart of Te Tai-o-Aorere, Tasman Bay. Mighty Kahikatea trees once stood in Māpua among a rich swamp wetland forest – the name ‘Māpua’ referring to the fruiting stage of Kahikatea. Dreams of what it once was, alongside time wandering the mountains and sea, form the foundations of what I create.

I have been up to a few things, studying and working in architecture, crewing on sailing boats, playing with earth building and supporting conservation projects. If something I am up to sparks your interest, please reach out, I would love to connect.
